There are different levels of male enjoyment.
Sex, steak, beer drinking, sex...all are things we get pumped up for. Above all those, however, is that one sporting event a year men wouldn't trade for any of the previously mentioned bonuses (except sex....and maybe steak).
Here at DTCC, it's Masters week. Personally, the Masters encompass all I love about sports. Tradition, elite competition, beauty (the kind not associated with Duffy Waldorf) and competitiveness.
(Side note: the last of the things I love about the Masters hinders on the fact that Tiger Woods doesn't just come out and smoke the field a la 1997.)
To celebrate Masters week, I will be posting clips and comments about my favorite Masters moments and will even have a mini golf spot over at Deadspin we will run on Thursday.
After the Kansas-Memphis game tonight, everything will be pointing towards the green jacket.

A friend of mine said she will actually be praying that Tiger Woods doesn't win the Masters.
"That's foolish," I said.
"Why, you don't believe in praying? Or God?" she asked.
"No, it's not that," I said. "Just that if God could have stopped Tiger Woods he probably would have by now."
