You might not love the LPGA Tour. I can understand it to an extent. Women's sports are tougher to get into than mens, and I think most females in the world would probably agree with that. But I really, really am starting to enjoy watching LPGA golf, and Sunday was a great example why.
The LPGA is like the European Tour on steroids. These girls really root for one another, and it is a wonderful thing to see so many of the girls come out to congratulate Stacy Lewis the minute the final putt dropped. They were truly proud of her, as they should be, and that's how individual sports should be. Sure you want to win, but when you don't, be the first person to say "Good job."
Also, the Nabisco tradition of jumping in the water is always fun. That is them going after it above, and I loved the cannonball by Lewis' caddie. A good move and a fun way to finish a week that he won't soon forget, as I'm sure she won't.
So yes, if you haven't already, give the LPGA a chance. It really is a great tour with some fun girls that can really play, and if you don't believe that, go watch any of them hit a few shots at the range. It'll get you shaking in your softspikes.
