Here is the scenario - you have some job opportunities but you take one from an old friend and boss because it's a good job in a good area and you enjoy the people surrounding you. While you there, boss gets sick, or divorced or just needs a few months of "alone" time, so you take over the boss responsibilities even though you've never done something like this for such a big company. You do your best, but "best" at this company is dominating the industry, so boss man comes back, and instead of thanking you and patting you on the back for helping out in a time of crisis, he cans you faster than you can spell "Jerryd."
So, in the course of eight months, you joined a company, got a not-so-deserved promotion, didn't live up to expectations, had someone come back to fill the position and now you've got your thumb out on the side of I-10 hoping to catch a ride to the Milwaukee area.
The good news - you landed on the Dan Patrick show this morning, which I guess is a good thing.
I promise you, I looked all over the site for a few minutes and have no clue how to listen to this show other than online. Is this on satellite radio? Can you download it on your iPod? Does Dan comes to random businesses and do the show?
I guess he isn't as popular as he used to be.
You haven't been looking hard enough. Dan Patrick is available in about 100 markets right now and on satellite radio (XM). Also, you can stream from the internet or go to the website of KLAC (an LA station)to get downloads for your ipod. The new syndicated show has been on for about 6 months, so they haven't grown to the show's old # of stations yet. Give it time. It's a new venture for Patrick, going solo like this.
